Soopda
I developed the brand identity for Cafe Soopda, located on Jeju Island. Soopda is tucked away along a road in Jeju, offering a peaceful place to rest surrounded by nature. On the way to the cafe, visitors encounter Jeju’s distinctive geographical features, including its oreum, as well as diverse vegetation that changes with the seasons.
Starting with the ‘path’ leading to Soopda, I developed Jeju’s ‘oreum’ and seasonal ‘vegetation’ into key visual elements of the brand. Inspired by the exterior of the cafe, I designed the main symbol and created a series of extended symbols featuring Jeju’s distinctive vegetation across the four seasons. Through these elements, I aimed to bring the natural scenery and atmosphere experienced on the journey to Soopda into the overall brand identity.
